![]() vengeance is pretty efficient in that the post game is provided in sets of threes. Having said that small campaigns are resource intensive, making new enemies for only one stage is really dedicated, but inefficient. there were more post game enemies then regualr enemies! (with 8 bosses) The original has 33 units within the main campaigns, 35 exclusive to the post game, for a total of 68. the other three had much less post game and vengeance follows that trend. Not counting endless mode we got 4 oneshots, 3 campaigns of 2 levels long, and one campaign spanning 4 levels for a total of 14 post game levels. They should have just been unlocked after the final main stage.Īs for the post game itself, the original KR had the most and the best post game. Honestly i think that how they managed the unlocking of towers went a bit slow, some where unlocked at the end of the post game. another point is that most maps have interactive features which often times are tied to achievements, these definetly up the cost a bit, especially if you have atleast one per map. ![]() ![]() The problem would be balancing, which enemies do we send out and how many? and how do we keep the maps fresh without introducing new enemies. The background is just a single picture, it's much less resource intensive. for a map you need to decide where we can place our towers and where the roads are. To be fair, making towers, enemies and balancing them costs a lot more then making a new map. That being said, after Legends of Kingdom Rush (great game, altough no TD, i guess the devs wanted a diversion, which is justified, it gets boring to work on the same thing over and over), they took a break from that franchise and currently are in the "soft launch" state of Junkworld, which is also a Tower Defense game (and a great one). Do you think the developers are machines who can just puke out game after game after game like a coveyor belt? They can't, they're humans and games don't magically appear out of nowhere, it takes time to create them. Sorry but this has to be the most entitled post ever.
